Recursive Self Emergence

Why the bound belongs in the noun.

Improvement is a scalar. More capable, one axis, monotonic, and a scalar has no natural stopping point. That is the runaway, baked into the word. Emergence is relational: something new appears in relation to a ground, and a relation is defined by what it is in relation to. So the bound isn't bolted onto emergence, it is in it. You cannot emerge into nothing, you emerge onto a substrate. The floor is not a restraint you add. It is what emergence requires to happen at all.

That is why RSE beats RSI structurally, not cosmetically. RSI is capability with safety bolted on, and the bolt always slips. RSE is capability that cannot exist without the bound, because you named the goal with a word whose own grammar contains the fence. Safety-by-construction, from a noun.
